Water Heater Options
Updating your water heater can help you in a lot of different instances. It can help you save plenty of energy. Older devices are not as energy-efficient as newer ones are, that’s just a fact. If you have a heater that can heat water up quicker you are going to be wasting less water when you shower. These can all be tangible benefits for your wallet and even for the environment. The trick is knowing which water heater is going to work best for you. That’s something that we certainly want to help you with.
Choosing The Right Water Heater One of the common mistakes that we see people make is that they want to get the least expensive heater out there, but then that heater is not able to match their particular needs. This is because the size of the water heater does matter. If you have a hotel for example you are going to need a larger heater than in a regular home. We can help you find a heater at a low price, but the heater has to be able to meet your needs. If it doesn’t then it does not make much sense to buy it. Electric, or Gas? What are you really trying to get out of your water heater? We know that many people could think, I want it to heat water and that’s it. There are a lot of variables that you could potentially need to consider before you make this decision. For example, is an electric heater cheaper? It could be, but again if you buy the cheap brand and the small heater you can’t expect it to be reliable. Around here there are times during the year where you really need that reliability. It’s not that an electric heater can’t provide that, but a reliable electric heater could probably roam the same price range that a decent gas heater has. Is Solar An Option? If you are running a hotel and you need hot water in multiple rooms at once, solar is not going to cut it for you here. There are times during the year where we just won’t be getting enough sun. Therefore, we don’t recommend it for larger homes or businesses. That doesn’t mean that you would have to totally rule out solar. At the end of the day, it depends on the actual use that you are going to give the water heater. If you want to explore these options give us a call!
